ALLIANZ APPOINTS GLASGOW BRANCH MANAGER

Allianz Insurance has appointed Stephanie Ogden as its new branch manager in Glasgow effective of 1 October. She will move from her current position of speciality lines underwriting account manager.

She was promoted to specialty lines underwriting account manager in 2014. During her time in the role she has held responsibility for running the overall national Allianz UK Speciality Lines account, which included Professional Indemnity, Directors & Officers, Accident and Health, and Marine Cargo lines.

Stephanie, who is ACII qualified, joined Allianz in 2008. She has held a number of roles during her time at the Company, including casualty underwriter, team leader in Allianz’s London branch, and executive assistant to Simon McGinn, commercial & personal general manager.

In her new role Stephanie will lead a team of 30 employees at the Glasgow branch. Her responsibilities will include overseeing regional broker business, the management of strategic broker accounts and the closer alignment of Glasgow and Manchester in Allianz’s North West region.
