ALLIANZ APPOINTS INNOVATION MANAGER
Allianz Insurance has promoted Robin Stagg to innovation manager.
In his new role, Robin will work as part of the strategic innovation unit to further embed innovation activity throughout Allianz. He will work to continuously develop and implement the innovation strategy as well as ensuring the latest research on the subject is incorporated within Allianz.
Robin originally joined Allianz on the Claims Management Graduate Program in 2007. His responsibilities have included managing a variety of change projects within the claims division, including process improvement, telephony and IT related projects.
Robin’s work within the claims division was acknowledged last year when he was awarded Rising Star Personal Lines at the 2011 Post Magazine Claims Awards and Outstanding Insurer Claims Individual of The Year at the UK Claims Excellence awards 2011.
Philip Gennoy, Director of HR, Allianz Insurance, said: “Since 2006 Allianz has implemented 30,000 ideas generated by its employees, delivering an annualised benefit of £15m. To continue this success it is vital that we have a strong team in place and Robin will be a welcomed addition.
“Robin brings with him a strong combination of insurance, innovation and business change skills. He has experience of working across a number of Operational and Project Management roles and he will be an excellent addition to the innovation team.”
