ALLIANZ APPOINTS NEW LOSS ADJUSTER PANEL
Allianz has today announced its new panel of loss adjusters following a thorough tender process.
The new panel, effective from 1 October, will comprise of Cunningham Lindsey, Crawford & Company and Questgates. Members were selected after meeting Allianz’s strict criteria of the highest standards of customer service and delivery.
The loss adjuster panel review coincides with the recent FCA thematic review into claims handling for small and medium-sized enterprises (SMEs). The findings were therefore taken into careful consideration by Allianz when selecting new members.
Sarah Mallaby, head of technical claims, Allianz Insurance, commented:
“The FCA’s thematic review into SME claims raised the important issue of effective communication between insurers, loss adjusters and the customer. This played a key role in our selection process, which was designed to ensure that our adjuster partners were fully aligned with our own strategy of putting the customer at the heart of everything we do.’
Mallaby added:
“Loss adjusters play a critical role in ensuring that a customer’s claim is an effortless process. We are delighted that our chosen panel of loss adjusters have demonstrated the capability to deliver an outstanding level of service to our customers.”
