ALLIANZ ENGINEERING SPARKS CHANGES WITH THREE NEW APPOINTMENTS

Allianz Engineering has expanded its team of Area Technical and Operations Managers (ATOMS) with three new management appointments.

Zoe Martin, and Tim Philips, both internal promotions, and Dave Castle, previously of Aviva, will be responsible for directing Allianz’s ever-growing engineer surveyor team, which now stands at well over 600.

With the number of ATOM’s now at 25 – an increase of 5 in the past 9 months, the appointments come as Allianz Engineering seeks to improve the management and the efficiency of its engineer workforce by creating smaller teams and increasing support for the surveyors each ATOM is responsible for.

The new ATOMs will manage and audit engineer surveyor performance and technical competence. Additionally, they will support clients meet their technical and compliance challenges, while offering opportunities for other technical services.

Martin Ball, head of engineering inspection, Allianz Engineering, said: “As our engineer surveyor numbers out in the field grows, it is important that we continually look to improve the way that we manage our teams. The appointment of Zoe, Tim and Dave, will help us on our journey towards reducing the size of our Engineer Surveyor teams enabling better control, governance and service delivery to our customers.”
