CHANGES TO THE MANAGEMENT BOARD AT ALLIANZ INSURANCE

Allianz Insurance is pleased to announce that Kevin Wenzel has been appointed as Director, Actuarial & Planning to replace Kathryn Willis who has decided to retire from the business.

Kevin joined Cornhill's Life Division in 1999 and he has worked in many areas of the business, including Allianz Global Risks, Allianz Commercial and most recently as Director, Allianz Retail where his responsibilities included pricing support, reserving and annual planning. Kevin is a Fellow of the Institute and Faculty of Actuaries.

Kevin said:

“I am delighted to accept this new role and I am very pleased to be joining the board at a time when Allianz Insurance is executing such exciting profitable growth plans.”

Kathryn joined the company in late 1999 as a consultant and stayed on as a permanent employee and was appointed Director, Commercial Actuarial in 2004 and Director, Actuarial & Planning in 2010. Prior to this Kathryn worked at London & Edinburgh Insurance for 11 years heading up the Commercial Lines Actuarial team, and at the Prudential for eight years where she worked in the Life Department. Kathryn is a Fellow of the Institute and Faculty of Actuaries.

“I have had a wonderful time during my career at Allianz Insurance and worked with some excellent people and that includes Kevin and I would like to wish him every success in his new role.”
