FIRST RETAIL BROKERS JOIN THE ALLIANZ SCHOLARSHIP PROGRAMME
Allianz Insurance hosted a launch event this week in the Great Hall at the CII’s headquarters in the City of London, to welcome the insurer’s first intake of retail broker scholars to its Allianz Scholarship Programme.
The 20 successful applicants, along with their broker sponsors, were joined by Dr Sandy Scott, the CII’s chief executive and Caroline Poppleton, regional broker partnerships manager, from Allianz, together with other representatives from the company.
Allianz received more than 60 applications for the scheme which helps scholars to achieve their CII Diploma in insurance in 18 months because of the support provided such as access to first-class tuition, revision sessions, free study texts and networking opportunities.
The programme begins in October and will take place in London and Manchester.
