HEAD OF PRICING DEVELOPMENT APPOINTED BY ALLIANZ INSURANCE

Allianz Insurance has announced the appointment of Deniz Moon to its Retail division as head of pricing development.

In her new role, Deniz will be responsible for managing pricing development across Allianz Retail’s home and motor portfolios, in order to support the company’s ambitious growth plans of becoming a top five personal lines insurer by 2018.

Deniz joins Allianz from the Markerstudy group, where she led the broker pricing team and held responsibility for the development of technical pricing, including data enrichment for its motor business.

She previously managed technical pricing at Direct Line Group, where she was responsible for its home insurance book in the UK.

Tom Moss, technical director, Allianz Retail, commented: “We are really pleased to welcome Deniz to the business, as she brings with her a wealth of experience and skills. Her support through pricing development will be invaluable as we look to profitably grow our Retail business.”
