HOME & LEGACY RELAUNCHES ITS LANDLORD INSURANCE

High net worth insurance specialist, Home & Legacy, has unveiled its improved and refreshed range of landlord insurance policies.

Following market research, Home & Legacy’s Ultra Landlord product now offers a 90 day unoccupancy grace period. Further new benefits include:

• improved liability limits (property owner’s £5m & employer’s £10m)
• loss of rent cover up to 25% of sums insured
• the option to include 24 hour, 365 day a year Landlord’s Emergency Property Assistance with further options to request a gas safety check and/ or energy performance certificate.

Home & Legacy underwriting and markets director, Ade Ewington said:

Home & Legacy has also updated the format and layout of the policy wordings so that they are simplified, while the policy covers and limits have been vastly improved.

The landlord insurance relaunch follows the similar refresh of Home & Legacy’s core high net worth household wordings. A refresh of Home & Legacy’s motor insurance offering will follow later in 2015.
