In a new report ‘Fleet Managers, the pressures, challenges and opportunities,’ released today, the findings of an independent survey found that 71% of fleet managers say the cost of vehicle repair influences the choice of vehicles in their fleet. Being green is also a key factor with 56% making choices around the composition of their fleet based on protecting the environment.

According to statistics from the Royal Society for the Prevention of Accidents (RoSPA), driver fatigue is likely to be a contributory factor in one in five road traffic accidents and up to a quarter of fatal and serious accidents. As the sleeping driver cannot brake or swerve to avoid or reduce the impact, these types of crashes are around 50% more likely to result in death or serious injury.
