ALLIANZ MAKES TWO NEW APPOINTMENTS IN NEWCASTLE

Allianz has today announced two new appointments to its Newcastle branch. Mike Gibbs will take on the position of business developer and Steven Black has joined the company as property & casualty underwriter. 

Mike moves to the Newcastle office from Allianz’s Leeds branch, where he was responsible for new business development. Steven has joined Allianz from Axa’s Glasgow branch and has more than ten years of property and casualty underwriting experience, primarily in a new business environment.

Andrew Broughton, director of broker markets, Allianz Commercial, commented:

“I am confident that the team is stronger than ever and look forward to the wealth of experience and knowledge that both Mike and Steven will bring to the branch.”

He added:

“Newcastle continues to be a very important region to us and I believe that we are in an excellent position to realise the full potential the North East presents.”
