ALLIANZ RETAIL INTRODUCES TWO NEW MANAGEMENT ROLES

Allianz has created two new management roles in its Retail division, as it expands its senior management team.

Jaye Borkakoti, formerly of Direct Line Group, has been appointed to the position of head of portfolio management, direct. In addition, Gail Williams, who has worked for Allianz since 2007, has been promoted to the role of technical support manager.

As part of his new role Jaye will be responsible for driving growth for Allianz direct motor and home by ensuring competitive pricing and customer positioning. Gail will oversee the technical support services team, in addition to the management of the Retail Underwriting Academy and coordination of technical initiatives, such as innovation and engagement.

Tom Moss, technical director, Allianz Retail, commented on the changes: “I am delighted that we are able to make these changes to the Retail management structure. The new structure changes underline our commitment to continue to invest in talent as we look to looks to reach our challenging growth targets.

“We have a highly experienced team with excellent technical capabilities and customer focus. It is my belief that Jaye and Gail have the necessary skills to strengthen our team and enable us to create a competitive advantage in the market.”
