ALLIANZ ANNOUNCES TECHNICAL SENIOR MANAGEMENT TEAM

Allianz Insurance has made four key senior management appointments to its newly formed Technical division, led by chief underwriting officer, Neil Clutterbuck.

Catherine Dixon will take on the role of director of underwriting & technical, commercial lines. She has been promoted from her previous position as head of property & casualty.

Allianz has appointed Simon Brimicombe to the position of director of underwriting & technical, personal lines. Simon joined the business in 2007, as director, broker and corporate partner, before taking on the role of Retail technical director, retail, in November 2015.

TimPitts will become head of technical & business standards, moving from his former role as head of product, home and motor. Tim joined Allianz in 2008 and has held a number of key personal lines roles.

Finally, Chris Wyard has been appointed to the position of head of underwriting data & MI development, building on the expertise he has developed in his previous position as Allianz’s enterprise information manager.
