ALLIANZ APPOINTS NEW HEAD OF MOTOR CLAIMS
Allianz Insurance has appointed Tony Newman as head of motor claims.
In his new position Tony will be primarily responsible for motor claims strategy, processes, indemnity spend, and market activity. He leads a team of technical managers providing national coverage.
Tony has worked at Allianz for over twenty years, progressing through the organisation. He has held a variety of roles in the claims division across operations, business change, and technical. He has also led claims related market consultations.
Sarah Mallaby, head of technical claims, Allianz said, “Tony brings a wealth of knowledge and experience to the role, he has already made a huge impact after being successfully seconded to the role since September 2014. I’m delighted we have been able to fill such a pivotal role from our internal talent pool. I have no doubt he will continue to make a valuable contribution to our claims operation".
