Allianz appoints new head of supply & experts

Allianz Insurance has appointed Eibhlin Swan to the position of head of supply & experts. The new appointment also sees Eibhlin become a member of Allianz’s Claims Management Board.

Eibhlin will be responsible for leading the continued digitalisation of Allianz’s Motor Engineer and Claims investigator model, achieving benefits for Allianz customers and expert teams, as well as ensuring the sustainability of its supply chain.

Eibhlin joined Allianz in 2012 as part of the Allianz Management Trainee Graduate Scheme and has held a number of leadership roles within the Commercial & Personal business area since then.

In her most recent role as branch manager for the Maidstone small business team, she lead Allianz’s SME distribution and technical strategy and consistent service delivery across the branch network and broker partners.

Allianz’s chief claims officer, Graham Gibson, commented: “I'm very pleased to welcome Eibhlin back to Claims and delighted she will be joining the Claims Management Board. Since joining Allianz in 2012, she has built up a strong knowledge of the market and our customers, alongside a proven track record of delivering positive results. We’re looking forward to having her on the team and continue the great progress we’ve already made against our strategy.

“Our ability to promote from within to fill this pivotal claims position just demonstrates the excellent talent pool we have at Allianz, which is a result of the continuous investment we make in our people.”
