Allianz appoints new speciality lines underwriting manager

Allianz Insurance has appointed Joe Roberts as the new specialty lines underwriting manager.

Joe has been with Allianz for 22 years, previously holding roles such as development underwriter at the Woking branch, where he spent 4 years working in various broker offices acting as a mobile development underwriter. He joined the Allianz account team in 2010, where he was responsible for management of the Allianz Insurance accident & health account.

In 2017 Joe was appointed as the senior account underwriter for all speciality lines (professional indemnity, management liability, accident and health, excess liability) and facility placements.

In his new role Joe will be responsible for the technical account management of the Allianz commercial speciality lines portfolio managing the strategic direction of the portfolio and embedding technical underwriting and analytical skills across the company.
