Allianz Holdings announces new chief operating officer
Allianz Holdings has appointed Ashish Patel to the position of chief operating officer (COO) effective from July 2022.
In his new role, Ashish will have responsibility for overseeing operations and technology, including Allianz’s transformation programme which will deliver the best service and digital experience for customers. He will also join the Allianz Holdings Executive Committee.
Ashish has worked for the Allianz Group for nine years, having previously held the position of head of Allianz Technology India. Most recently he led the Global Delivery Network for Allianz Technology, where he was responsible for overseeing branches in India, Spain and Thailand. Prior to joining Allianz, Ashish had a lengthy career in the banking sector, including six years as director at Barclays Bank India.
