Press release -
Allianz launches new risk management website to support brokers and businesses
Allianz Insurance has launched Allianz Risk Management, a new website to help businesses manage the threats they are exposed to.
Recent independent research commissioned by Allianz Insurance found that half of SMEs would welcome further information from an expert source about the many risks facing their business. The Allianz Risk Management website meets that demand by providing guidance on a wide range of risk topics, from traditional fire or flood to new challenges such as data management, cyber threats or managing mental health in the workplace.
With a 26% growth in the number of small and medium-sized employers since 2000 and 16.1million people employed in the SME sector, it’s crucial for brokers to keep up-to-date with the changing risk landscape, as many SMEs will look to their brokers for support and information.
On Allianz Risk Management users can browse hazards by type, find trade specific guidance and keep up to date with legislation relevant for their businesses.
The site can help companies:
- Understand and manage their risks
- Keep their employees and customers safe
- Manage their compliance with legal requirements
A business impact assessment tool has also been included which helps users identify potential threats to their organisation’s continuity and understand how to mitigate them.
Whilst the site is available to everyone Allianz customers receive additional benefits including access to free telephone consultations and Allianz preferred supplier discounts.
Andy Miller, technical loss control engineer manager, commented: “With a fast changing digital and legislative landscape, as well as traditional threats, businesses need support from the insurance industry and many will turn to their brokers. Our site has a wealth of information on a huge range of topics which are designed to help keep your clients’ businesses open.
“It’s crucial that risk management issues are taken seriously and I believe the Allianz Risk Management site will become a valuable tool for businesses. It should complement the key role that Brokers already play in educating customers and raising awareness of this important topic.”
