ALLIANZ LEGAL PROTECTION APPOINTS SENIOR BUSINESS DEVELOPER

Allianz Legal Protection (ALP) has announced the promotion of Mike Wildy to the role of senior business developer.

Mike will be responsible for positioning ALP within the Commercial After the Event (ATE) insurance space. He will provide market insight, with particular emphasis on distribution through specialist brokers, and will also support the growth of solicitor distribution in the personal injury market.

Mike joined the ALP underwriting team in 2008 and, most recently, as senior underwriter has lead new business acquisition and relationship development across the ALP’s ATE and Before the Event (BTE) portfolios.

Prior to starting at Allianz Mike worked for PRO Insurance Solutions leading a team responsible for dividend payments before moving into audit, due diligence and commutation of large US and London Market reinsurance arrangements, specifically per event and catastrophe programmes.

Mike also holds a Law Degree and is studying for his CII Diploma.
