Petplan Announces 2024 Veterinary Awards Winners
Petplan announced the five winners of the 2024 Veterinary Awards during a prestigious black tie ceremony held in Manchester last night. Now in their 25th year, these awards recognise the nation’s most outstanding veterinary professionals, who have been nominated by clients and colleagues alike for their continued hard work and dedication to keeping pets healthy.
The five winners are:
Practice Support Staff of the Year
Rachel Tring, Pride Veterinary Centre, Derby.
Practice Manager of the Year
Johanna Moore, Dave Cumber Vets, Weymouth.
Practice of the Year
House and Jackson, Blackmore
Vet Nurse of the Year
Nicole Shorto, Peak Veterinary Practice, Sheffield.
Vet of the Year
Alison Hammond, Mainstone Veterinary Clinic, Romsey.
Each winner was selected by a panel of independent expert judges, including presidents of AVS (Animal & Veterinary Service), BVNA (British Veterinary Nursing Association) and SPVS (Society of Practicing Veterinary Surgeons),
The celebration took place at Albert Hall in Manchester hosted by TV personality Claudia Winkleman.
